Fine choice.
Modern, somewhat spartan, but pleasant. Convenient to U-bahn, a few blocks walk to altstadt center.

In a good location
Nice hotel in the city. Easy access to and near the U-Baun. Places to eat all around within easy walking distance. In a nice city location, I think. I didn’t know the better areas of Munchen, but wanted to go to the German Museums nearby. This hotel was in a good location to visit the German museums and have access to the underground transport. I prefer a more knowledgeable staff. They were eager to help, but without the "Google" network they were at a loss about such things as: Car rental, tours, and museums. I brought a map of the museums so I was way ahead of the staff. Did I get the results from their searches on Google? Sometimes, but slowly.

Great location, but no air conditioning (a minor problem for us in July)
Stayed at the GHOTEL in early July, 2009. The hotel was in a great location, a sort of artsy district, and the price we paid couldn’t be beat (even according to the locals). The room was a nice size and had a kitchenette. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was there was no air conditioning, but this didn’t pose to be a problem for us. Would definitely stay here again. There was a church across the street that rang it’s church bells, but this never woke us at night - and was pretty amusing when we were awake.
