bed and breakfast
the hotel was adorable. small room but did not need a lot of space. glad there was a tv with cable! it was called a bed and breakfast but the breakfast was just muffins, oj, coffee, and cereal. the website should say "modest breakfast" as the host described when we woke up.

Great for Cub Fans
With our price, we got free parking, a four block walk to Wrigley, continental breakfast, vouchers for Dinner each night of our stay at Trader Todd’s. It is a great value. The bed was very comfortable, but the small room was inconvenient without a closet. Sharing a bathroom at a bed/breakfast with other guests isn’t the greatest, but the cost of this stay and what came with it was a tremendous value. IF you are in town for a few Cub games, you’ll like the whole Wrigleyville atmosphere.

It is close to the L, so bring ear plugs and you won’t hear a thing.

Get it cuz it’s cheap
Don’t expect much from this inn/hotel, it is truly a budget inn. The room basically only had space for the comfortable queen size bed and a small dresser, and you share a bathroom with the rest of the floor. The free breakfast is certainly nice and so was the host. Just drop your bags off here and go explore Chicago, come back to sleep. At night the place isn’t exactly attended by anyone, but only the people staying there have the key to get in. Another bonus is that since the next-door karoake-bar runs the inn, they give each person a $10 coupon for the bar. The inn is conveniently near a subway station (Red/Brown line), bus line (which can take you to the Blue line that goes to O’Hare Int’l Airport), restaurants & bars, and convenient stores.

Grab a couple of their free cereal boxes, cereal bars, and fruit during breakfast so you can snack during the day.
