Great Place to stay
My husband, myself and our two children (4&7) stayed in a standard queen suite, and we were very satisfied with all facilities for the price. There was plenty of room. It had a nice sized kithen area and a big bathroom with jacuzzi which the kids loved. The pool area was large and beautifully maintained. The splash fountain for the kids was a hit as well as the playground. Everything was new, clean and well maintained. There were many great restaurants nearby, but not walkable, and downtown Scottsdale was a 15 minute drive. You do need a car.
Traveler's tip on dining
Our favorite place to dine on our visit was Oreganos on Scottsdale Road near Old Town. Great pizza an pasta...perfect for a family with young kids.

Great place!
This was our first time at Sheraton Desert Oasis and it was great! We were a bit nervous because it was a timeshare and usually you are hounded with sales pitches! We we asked about taking a resort tour but were not pressured, thats a huge plus for us who have no interest in buying one. The room was great and the bed was awesome! Flat screens in the living room and bedroom area. They have an amazing playground for kids with a shade cover (very nice in the Arizona Sun). The pool was beautiful and the prices on the food and drinks were reasonable. They had so many activities that we actually stayed at the resort to do them instead of going and seeing the fireworks for the fourth! Loved it and will stay again.

Sheraton Desert Oasis
Public jacuzzi surface was green, maid service did not clean spa tub in room, sleeper couch in living room was very uncomfortable to sit on.
