The Century Park is the Best in Amman
I booked my stay at the Century Park based on Expedia reviews and was delighted at how nice it was. I think it was a great deal for the price, and was well located for me- close enough to downtown for a cab ride to be not too expensive, but also within walking distance of the Swefieh shopping district where I could get a cell phone, and close enough to the airport to make a lot of sense when I returned and had a one-night stay in Amman on my way home from Cairo. The room was spotless, comfortable, had good room service, and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic, with made-to-order omelettes and a huge spread of impeccable options. The staff was sweet and accommodating and let me store my luggage when I had to travel south to Wadi Rum, and I felt completely taken care of there. Also the light in the rooms was nice. They were renovating the pool, but it wasnt an issue. If you get a back-facing room, you can look out over the whole yard, pool, and garden, instead of the parking lot, but either were fine with me and comfortable with good light. I highly recommend the Century Park.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
If you buy a pay-as-you-go cell phone in Jordan (I recommend Orange) and plan to travel on in the Middle East, be sure to stock up on extra minutes before you leave Jordan, because the Jordanian service is by far the best throughout the region and roams easily in Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt, whereas buying a new SIM card in those regions will leave you with subpar service that will terminate as soon as you leave the country.

Cant wait to go back
The location of the hotel is wondeful - in the middle of the city, and yet is very quiet, no huge traffic around. There is a duty free shop next to the hotel. Very nice hotel, staff is polite and professional, service is very good. I would recommend it to all my friends.
