Great Find
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon. The hotel is close enough to walk to restaurants, bars and sightseeing, but it is located in a quiet neighborhood. The place is more like an apartment building than a hotel which makes it feel more cozy. While the room isn’t too big, ours had a stove top, decent sized fridge and some cookware and utensils w/a table if you feel like eating in. The place was very clean and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a great place to stay on a budget, I would definitely recommend Cap Europe.

clean, quiet, cheap
Given the price there is little to complain about this hotel. Sure, it has the ambience of a youth hostel (especially the bathrooms) but the rooms are huge, most seem to have a kitchenette and at night it’s extremely quiet. The rooms are very clean and the staff is fairly friendly and accomodating.

Decent hotel all around
This hotel provided a good introduction to Strasbourg for me. The staff was friendly, the location is about a 10 minute walk from downtown, and there wasn’t any roadside noise to keep me awake. Those who are really light sleepers may feel the walls are too thin, but it was ok for me.
