Cheap, quick and easy
This hostel is about a 5 minute walk from the london bridge metro station. Easy to get to just about everywhere in London from there. Would maybe check out St. Christophers Inn next time. Use the shower on the 2nd floor, it gets the most hot water.

Not for grown-ups
I understand that hostels are geared toward young adults since that is their primary customer. St Christophers London might be fine if youre a twentysomething whos more interested in a place to store your luggage than a place to get some sleep. Based upon my experience, you wont get much! My room had 4 sets of bunk beds and the other guests had spread the contents of their suitcases far and wide (including on my bed). I went to bed about 10 p.m. and was awakened at least once an hour by my roomates returning from the downstairs bar or other places. They would turn on the lights, talk (not in a whisper) and otherwise act as if the room was not a place where one might get some rest. It finally quieted down at 4 a.m. As if that were bad enough, the bathrooms were dirty and the front-desk clerks rude and unhelpful. Id give this place 1 out of 5 stars - it was a place to store my luggage while I went out to see London but thats about the only positive thing I can say about it.
