A pleasant stay
Stayed in the Winter Room for two nights in July ’09. Not a huge room but for just reading in bed and sleeping, it was fine AND it was clean! The breakfasts were wonderful and like everyone has mentioned before, there was enough food (and it was delicious) to eliminate lunch for the day. The Inn Keeper was personable and knowledgable about the area. The Inn is just down the road from "downtown" Schroon Lake. I though it was a bit of a walk but by car it only takes a minute or two. From the Inn, it took about 20 minutes to hit Lake George, 1/2 hour to Fort Ti and about 45 minutes to Lake Placid. So, it’s a good central location. All in all, I’d stay at the Tumble Inn again without hesitation.
