An Indian Hotel Chain

It is basically a Southern Indian Hotel Chain. So, don’t be surprised if you find only Indian Food, in particular, the Southern Indian Food to be served in the Hotel. Of cause, there is one Rock Bottom US Bar on site as well. You can grab the Wings and Burgers.

Good value for the money

The hotel staff are very helpful. The hotel is near a nice beach and is in a quite (upscale) area. The restaurant/nightclub (Rock-Bottom) is simply horrible. Opt for Mirchi, an Indian restaurant on site. The other joints Arabian Nights and Bollywood are just sleezy.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The hotel staff are very good at assisting with tours. Go for the Nizwa or Jebel Al-Akhthar tours; the trips alone are worth the money.

Good Hotel

The hotel is OK for Muscat. I have stayed at several and this is one of the best for the price. There is a excellent steak house and club in the hotel, it’s called Rock Bottom. They have live entertainment every night except for Fridays.
