Voksenasen must mean excellence in Norwegian
Voksenasen is a very unique hotel experience. Located high above Oslo, Norway, Voksenasen offers a breathtaking view of Oslo by day and by night. The hotel is located inside a cultural and conference center that is dedicated to the Swedish effort of providing support to Norway during and after WWII. There is constant activity of conferences that provides a unique experience of meeting folks from around the world. The hotel staff is very professional and all of them make you feel at home. I give Voksenasen my highest recommendation! I have extended my stay by two months! Need I say more?

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve been in one of the most beautiful cities. Really a hidden treasure up in the mountains. Can’t think of a better way to experience Oslo. Don’t tell everyone about it.

An excellent choice
This hotel was a 30 minute ride on the t-bane from central Oslo, but the ride afforded incredibly beautiful views of Oslo and its fjord below and the train ran on a completely dependable schedule. The hotel itself was beautiful with plenty of places to enjoy the amazing views,while sipping complimentary cappuchino or tea among many other choices. The rooms were extremely comfortable, if simple, and impeccably maintained. Breakfasts were excellent and free internet was provided. You would not get comparable accommodations within central Oslo without paying many times more.
