Not Impressed
We were just staying there for the night because we flew in late from the airport...but the hotel was pretty gross. The hallways smelled like urine. The rooms were very outdated...tubs were small. The only thing good was the air-conditioning. :/
Traveler's tip on nightlife
We did go to a bar close to the hotel that was filled with a bunch of men...mostly Marine’s...so if your a single lady...that’s the place to be in Jacksonville!

Great Hotel
I would definitly recommend this hotel. It was a beautiful suite and close to everything. The only complaint I had was the hard beds and the door woukd not lock so there was no need for a key card Just had to make sure you locked it from inside to be secure. Other than that, it was a nice stay and staff was really nice.

tired, worn, and not clean
Two hotel clerks greeted me when I checked in. One grilled me for my reservation number as well as my credit card number to cover incidentals. The other clerk took over from the first and was extremely helpful and had earlier that day offered to let me check in early for my daughter’s wedding. After the airline misdirected my luggage to jacksonville, fl, I didn’t need to check in early, but appreciated the ability to do so. The bathroom was far from clean and had hair on the floor and in the tub. The chair in the room had ripped fabric and the bed cover was worn and frayed.
