Great Location, Dissapointing Check-In Service

We recently arrived from Sydney Australia with high expectations for the Mirage. The central location was fantastic and was surrounded by other beautiful hotels. However the check-in service was terrible, to say the least.....very slow, unorganised and not enough service people to help the amount of people checking in. There was a very large counter which extended all the way in front of the Aquarium & continued in to the check in area. All of this counter could have been used for check-in purposes however it was confined to four rows of about 30 people/families on each row, all with their baggage waiting to be checked in. There were problems with computers & communication etc and the whole process just to check-in took at least 2 hours, The lines stretched through where the general public needed to walk to gain access to lifts etc. Our room was smaller than expected but very clean & modern with all the conveniences you would need. The beds were fantastic! Everything was great once the check-in was over. If the hotel could improve on this process we would definately return as it is a lovely central hotel. The volcano eruptions out the front are just fantastic!

Check out all the hotels and what they are like inside. They are truely amazing. Also the shopping in the outlet stores are so cheap. So many bargains can be found there.....Try and catch at least one show why you are there. They are fantastic!s & Outlet Shopping the Best!

It’s a Mirage

Bringing an elderly guest required lots of walking to get to elevators, then to the room. The bathroom was a disappointment, with mold in the tub grout and back caulking, reminded me of travels in cheaply remodeled motels. Needed to ask for more washclothes, shower caps. The casino was way too smoky. Bellagio casinos were clean and air was good, but the Mirage wasn’t - pool area had similar problem with rows of lounge chairs so close, one person smoking affected rows of people. Good location for shows, though ticket pick up for Beatles Love show was a bit absurd, waited a long time to pick up already purchased tickets.

Nice but a little cheezy

Hotel staff was excellent, room was amazing, shows right there at the hotel, great food, entertainment, but the people who were gambling seemed a bit cheezy to us...a little cheap. The room was extremely comfortable however, the front door was made out of bamboo or something not too sturdy...we could hear everyone and everything walking passed us during all hours of the night and early morning! All in all, awesome experience!
