Very nice..
The hotel at Eagle Pass is new hotel that is in very good condition. The rooms were clean, neat, and very comfortable.

By staying in Eagle Pass you are a short distance from the Mexican border if you want to visit Mexico.

Not Bad
While the room as a whole was pretty nice and the room service was prompt, I did have a few concerns. First, the room doors open right onto the parking lot (second floor and above have flights of stairs), which I’ve never felt very safe in. The door did have great security, but the sizable window next to it would have quite possibly been an easy option if someone wanted to get in. Second, the bathroom door would not stay shut, so that made getting out of the shower quite cold. And third, though not that terrible, the batteries in the TV remote were dead and I had to replace them. Otherwise, as I said it was pretty nice. Fresh towels, hot shower, bed wasn’t bad, huge dresser, microwave, coffee pot, great medium refrigerator, and nice desk. Great big bathroom counter as well. Staff was courteous and helpful and breakfast was good. All in all I’d give this hotel a B+.
Traveler's tip
Just a note if travelers are not already aware, most people here speak spanish. I didn’t have too much trouble, but if I’d stayed much longer than I did it would have been a little difficult. Also, I traveled from here to Crystal City and there was a border patrol stop. Quick and easy, just an fyi.
