The location ,hotel service and convenience is perfect. The staff is premium in assistance and security. Breakfast was included with our stay. The offered a great variety of breakfast foods and it lasted from early morning until noon. The location to all of Malaga is within walking distance or a quick taxi or bus ride. We highly recommend a stay here and will return to stay at the Room Mate Lola.

There is so much to see and do in Malaga. The beautiful architecture of the churchs, buildings and apartmentsare a must to see. The main shopping area Calle Larios and it surrounding streets offer everything imaginable and everything is quality. THe Museum of Wine ,the Piccasso Museum, the bull ring , promenade of flowers to the beach are just a few of the notable places to visit. The restaurants and cafe all offer the best that Malaga , Spain has to offer.

Excellent choice for chrome and glass hotel style

The Room Mate Lara (which seems to be a play on roommate) is a new hotel, very modern style, in an excellent location, with many restaurants in the area, and only two blocks from Alameda Street where all the buses run. Rooms are typically small, but well designed and well appointed with comfortable beds and excellent lighting. The bathroom is unusually large with excellent shower and tub. Excellent, accomodating staff. Tiny lobby and no pool or bar.

Central hotel both close to the beach and center

Modern hotel with modern decor. Bergamote flavored orange color shower gels and soaps very refreshing! Home made cakes and pastry, and fruit available at breakfast. Central location within walking distance both to the beach and the town center. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean room, standard room a bit too small. Only downside is that the hotel is adjacent to old concrete buildings, and there is no view. In fact, our window was a few meters away from the opposite building.

Great hotel, terrible location

Great staff, very accommodating. Room was clean, comfortable, and very modern. Free internet access in lobby. Good free breakfast every morning with lots of options. However, location is very sketchy. We arrived late at night and while looking for the hotel, passed prostitutes on every block surrounding the hotel.

This was a great modern and new hotel that was just a few blocks from the main shopping street and the sights of Malaga. The staff was very accomodating as well. The free breakfast buffet was also very good and had several healthier options (rare in Spain)!

Impressive!

In short, this was the very very best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time, for business or leisure. The hotel is centrally located in Malaga, the multi-lingual staff is superb, it is very cost effective, and the facilities are 5-star!

Forget all of the pricey 4 and 5-Star hotels in Malaga central. Stay here!

A lovely boutique hotel only 500 metres from downtown.

The hotel is located very close to the city centre and the harbour. Malaga is a wonderful city. I stayed on Room Mate Lola for 5 days this December. I had wonderful weather. 23 degrees and sunshine every day! Room Mate Lola is a design hotel with very nice and clean studios, I had an executive one with minibar (surcharge I guess, never took anything from there), but electronic mini safe included. They don’t have wireless Internet, but offers a cable for free so you can connect your computer on the room, and the Internet speeds are good. The breakfast is served until 12 o clock, which I liked. But the selection of food could have been better. I loved this hotel and would recommend it for everyone.

There are lots of bars and discos. But on Sunday Night everything is closed after Midnight. All other days of the week you can party all night long! The tapas bars are among the best in Spain, and serve food of every kind for a low price. And 1 cerveza is 1 euro only. The city centre is nice and they also have lots of shopping centres close to the city.

Lola - great choice!

The hotel is great! It is located away of all the actions so it is quiet at night. walking distance (2 minutes) to the town center where all the great restaurants, museums and bars are located. Staffs are very friendly and smart. Hotel is brand new (9 months old) with parking garage, breakfast served, and bathroom that works.

This is really a fantastic hotel. A nice gem in the centre of Malaga!

The service is excellent, and the rooms are beautiful. After having spent several weeks travelling around Spain, living in mediocre hotel rooms, I did not expect the end of my stay to be at such a nice and wonderful hotel. This is really a 4 star hotel (3.5 does not do it justice). The price is also very affordable compared to what you get elsewhere. The breakfast is not bad at all, and the location is wonderful. I especially recommend buying some Jamon Iberico de Bellota at the shop located around the corner and one block towards the city centre. But back to the point, the hotel is a gem. I had the pleasure of meeting Lola herself while I was there, and she is very sweet. Room Mate Lola is the best hotel in Malaga, hands down! I am so glad I stayed there, and I would love to go back.
