A Real Gem
What makes this hotel such a find is the quality of the service and how nice the rooms are. The staff gives you the feeling of a five star boutique hotel in Europe, and I really mean that. They are sharp, helpful, numerous, accommodating and attractive. The rooms are very nice too, large and well appointed. This is a great place, and well priced.

There is also a great local restaurant. I forget the name. Ask the staff where to get good seafood.

Very reliable hotel, good-sized and clean rooms, near good shopping and restaurants.
I liked just about everything at this hotel. I wish there had been a larger eating area for breakfast. Also, I really don’t like rooms where the bathroom sink is in the bedroom. This is a bit uncomfortable especially when sharing a room as I did. The staff was polite and very knowledgeable.

Sterile environment
The room was very clean and had a nice view of the marshes, egrets, redwing blackbirds, etc. But, there was only one small dresser with three drawers, no drawer on the nightstand, a hard to set clock alarm, only one sink for three adults. No local newspaper box, brochures, vending machines on my (fifth) floor. The main complaint was that after forgetting my phone recharger I got no help from the staff. I called the same night after I checked out and was told that the clerk couldn’t check because he was all alone at the desk.He said he would check the next day and call back. Despite two more calls to different people at the desk, they all promised to call back but did not. WON’T GO BACK.
