Nice weekend stay
Overall a great experience. Ask for a room that isnt near the elevator because the noise can be annoying.
The breakfast buffet is pretty typical and it costs $9.95. There are lots of other places to eat on Wendover Ave. that would offer a better variety.

Adequate - a B for the Hilton
Adequate is the perfect adjective for the Hilton in Greensboro. The room was clean and typical - the bathroom had dirt in the corners and a leftover hair in the tub. The front desk attendants were very helpful and always able to provide for requests including maps, directions and recommendations. The pool is very small and spa even smaller although both were clean. The hotel is a bit stuffy(as in not enough ventilation), food is okay without being standout. All in all a solid, predictable B experience. There must be better choices in Greensboro.
Greensboro has great gardens - we visited the Bicentenial Gardens, the Arboretum and the Bog Gardens - all for free. Wonderful sculptures, great paths for kids to run and play and lovely environment. As a farm family it sure beat the mall for our crew.
