great location
The inn was close to everything we wanted to do. Great dining in walking distance. Yoshi’s is just around the corner. The room was very comfortable. Make sure to get a courtyard room away from the noise of the train.
parking is free, so we drove over and parked in their secure garage and walked everywhere we needed to go.

Convenient for train travelers
The Inn at Jack London Square is just a short walk from the Amtrak station. It’s surrounded by excellent restaurants such as The Fat Lady, one of Oakland’s historic restaurants. The Oakland-San Francisco ferry is just a few blocks away, as is the BART station. The hotel itself is decent and comfortable, but being so close to the train station, you will suffer loud train whistles all night long and very early morning business traffic noise, as the produce market is just around the corner. If you are a sound sleeper and need a hotel convenient to the Amtrak station, this is probably your best bet.

very convenient to ferry and BART. near great restaurants & bars
Nice renovation. Suggestions: Yoshi’s Restaurant & Lounge - wonderful place to watch a show- great acoustics & comfortable seating. There is not a bad seat in the house.Food: Home of the Chicken & Waffle- good food, better prices, fantastic service - thanks Constance!!!
