Fantastic Hotel: Highly Recommended!!!
Everything about this hotel is excellent. The welcome was superb, cold drinks included. We were upgraded to a suite (which was lovely, and had decent views of the tops of the Taj), and had the best meal we had in India at the hotel’s restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. The service is impeccable. The spa facilities are some of the best in the world. We wish we had had more time to spend at the hotel!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you are going to the Taj Mahal, you should know that there are three entrances. The south has the fewest people in line. Guides will offer to get you "VIP" tickets for a hefty sum... all they do is take you to one of the other gates.

Place to stay in Agra
I stayed at this hotel 15+- years ago and it was excellent at the time. When planning another trip to India (July 2009), I decided to visit the hotel again. This was not a mistake. . . . all aspects of my stay were excellent again and very satisfactory with the stay.

Make sure while you are at the ITC Mughal, you take time to visit the Taj. A great experience for any traveler.

Great Hotel
Beautiful hotel, great lookout to the Taj Mahal, lovely staff and the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in. With the outside temperatures between 45 and 48 degrees(C), this hotel provided a welcome refuge to return to.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
May/June is not the best time to visit Agra because of the high temperatures. However, amazing sights and experiences make it worthwhile at any time of year.
