Love the Ocean View Rooms
We’ve returned to this hotel 3 times, always in the same room type. We mostly stay here for the location- across from the beach and close to the Rue Pietonne/Rue Massena. We also like the ocean view and comfy beds. Another perk this time was the availability of connecting ocean view rooms to accomodate all four of us. My other family members always stay in the Classic rooms to save money and are never impressed. They don’t like the beds in those rooms and say the carpet is filthy (both 4 years ago and on our last trip). In summary, the ocean view rooms are wonderful, but this doesn’t apply to the other types of rooms.

Mmmm, love the wood fire pizza at Le Quebec or their two other locations on Rue Massena.

Not Impressed
The wrong room was assigned to us and when we informed them, they did not even try to correct their mistake. They tried to say that we wanted an upgrade. I pulled out our reservation and showed them, then they assigned the correct room but a smoking one after we had insisted on non smoking. There was a leak from the ceiling which soaked the carpet.

major dissappointment
The attitude of hotel staff was poor at best. The hotel did not honor the specific reservation. The room provided was dirty with stained and cigarette burned carpet. By the way the hotel photo provided on the expedia site conveniently does not include the first floor which is a fast food restaurant.
