Great place to stay.. Not close to the center, but the taxi rides were really cheap...
I marked them down for quality because they didnt speak english very well.. (I know, typical American) =)

Nice hotel, bad location
The hotel staff was very thoughtful. It was my anniversary and they hooked us up with cake and champagne. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is modern, and the rooms are large. However, the location is awful. It is not near anything. They are happy to arrange a cab but if you want things within walking distance, I do not suggest.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Please, do not take a cab from the airport that isnt called "OK" taxi. Anyone in the airport will tell you this. The ride from the airport to the hotel is 5euro, we went against the suggestion and went with another taxi and it was 18euro!

decent new hotel
Hotel was an acceptable business hotel. Better than average for Sofia. Clean with good service and a good restaurant. The hotel was not within walking distance of the center of the city, so perhaps not the best location for guests who want to walk around and sightsee.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Not really a lot to sightsee, but there is some nice casinos like the "Princess Casino".
