Nothing exceptional - good or bad
Place was acceptable in all aspects. Nothing stood out as out of the ordinary. I would go back and recommend it for the economy of the rates.
Traveler's tip on dining
I had two meals at Rockhoppers, a restaurant attached to a competitor motel located a 1/4 mile down the hwy. Excellent food, preparation is timely, quantity good, as is the service.

My husband and i enjoyed it. It was agreat price and ver convieiently located to where we needed to be.

Hotel unwilling to allow changes
I originally booked the hotel for three nights. My plans changed and I wanted to check out a day early. I notified Expedia who told me to check out first. The hotel would not check me out. I called Expedia. They took care of everything, though I think the hotel was very unreasonable. I will be an Expedia customer for life though won’t return to that particular hotel. I plan to return to the Clemson area 3-4 times a year. Their loss. I will book another hotel in the area next time---through Expedia.
