a so-so hotel
location of hotel is great...room is tiny but comfortable and clean....however, washroom especially the shower stall is way too small...most of the front desk people are friendly...

Beware--Hotel is not as pictured
the only thing this hotel has going for it is that it has a view of the leaning tower. it is in major need of renovation. Forget getting any help with your bags or even getting throught the front door. You are on your own. You have to haul your bags up several steps just to get to the elevator and then it is only large enough for one person and a bag. The staff were friendly and there was only one front desk person and he was always helpful. The breakfast was ok and the girls serving it were very nice. The housekeepers were friendly. The beds are like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. The air conditioning was minimal. We were fortunate enought to have a bathroom in our room although most other rooms did not and had to share a hall bath. Our shower was so small that every time you moved you either shut your water off or bumped it and got hit with hot water. The internet did not work. When we walked into our room we were ready to cancel our second night and go directly to Florence a day earlier than planned.
