Highly recommend this gorgeous hotel
We stayed at the Hotel Galileo Padova as a base for our visit to Venice. The hotel more than met our expectations. It is fairly new and very modern in design. They have a beautiful indoor pool, a nice bar, a separate restaurant and a large breakfast room which serves a fantastic buffet at breakfast time which was included in our room rate. Our room was very nice, well furnished with LCD tv and a mini bar. The bathroom was gorgeous and looked like it had never been used. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had. The only negative comment was the lighting in the corridors. There was a small light above each room door, but no lighting in the hallways. Other than that everything was perfect. One of the best hotels of our 3 week trip.
Traveler's tip
This hotel is a great base for visiting Venice. You can walk to the train station from the hotel and get the train to Venice which is less than a half hour ride. When you exit the train station in Venice you are facing the Grand Canal. Quite a sight.

Definitely go back
The Hotel was really clean, it semm like it was just remodeled, really clean bathroom. Beakfast was pretty complete also, only stayed there for one night.

We would stay there again!
We went to Italy for our honeymoon and loved this hotel. The staff spoke English and they were all very helpful. The location was perfect for us. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from a bus station and the train station. From those two locations, you can go anywhere in Italy. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The building has a very modern look and feel.
