Rudninku Vartai

The Rudninku Vartai hotel is situated in the center of Vilnius, in a genuinely historic place. During 1503-1522 Rudninku gate and the city‘s wall were built in the same place as ordered by the Lithuanian Grand Duke Alexander to defense Vilnius from the Tartars. Inside the hotel and in its courtyard you can see one of the remaining sections of this defensive wall. The Rudninku gate was one of the strongest fortification elements of the town – it was a powerful defence construction comparable with a castle and also the official city entrance. The hotel is an enchanting property with warmly decorated interiors and comfortable bedrooms, offering a relaxing and pleasant stay to guests who wish to explore Vilnius and its attractions such as the New Jewish Sinagogue, the Contemporary Art Center and the Church of St. Casimir, all situated a short walking distance from the hotel. On-site amenities include bar-cafeteria and snack bar, reception open 24 hours with luggage room and safety box, small courtyard with 3 car places and welcoming bedrooms to ensure guests relax and comfort.
