Would Stay There Again
We were in Norfolk for my sons football game, so we flew in and out of the area within 24 hours. I chose this hotel for two reasons proximity to the airport and because I prefer to stay in a suite type room whenever I travel. Upon arrival before 3pm checkin time we were told there were no rooms ready and as we were standing at the desk figuring what to do the desk clerk found one that was just cleaned. The room was a bit chilly when we entered because they had the air on full blast. The bed was one of the nicest I have seen in a hotel, very comfy. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. My only complaint was not enough lighting in the bathroom.

The area is beautiful, take some time to drive around and enjoy the waterfront and quaint homes.

Early flight? The place to stay.
What a convenient, friendly place to stay. We had a 6:00 am check in at the airport the following morning so we turned our rental car in that evening. The hotel shuttle picked us up and made arrangements to get us back the next morning at 5:45. Everybody was so helpfull. The room was big, clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. We had a wonderful dinner at a restraunt just across the parking lot. You need to stay here. It’s great.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Botanical Gardens are right in this same area and they were beautiful. You can walk through, ride a shuttle through and there is even a boat the goes through. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours before going to the hotel for the night.
