Will go back
Home made quilts on each bed. You can buy them too. Desk clerks and housecleaning were very pleasant. Plenty of coffe and continental breakfast. Take a fruit to go.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Eat a heathly breakfast, take snacks and plenty of water. Stops in between site seeing is scares. Beautiful county. The american flags through the town was something every state should do. Keep up the faith.

Would definitely stay there again
The Best Western Black Bear Inn was very clean and comfortable. The people at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. The continental break fast provided was fine. Although our stay was short (one night) we enjoyed it and would definitely stay there again.

Very helpful and friendly
From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. The staff was very helpful from directions and suggestions of places to eat. The room was very clean, good sized, and comfortable. All around a very nice place to stay.

Great place!
I loved the Black Bear Inn...it was conveniently located right off the freeway but was in a quiet area too. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. My friend was ill during our trip and the restaurant was very agreeable to fixing a tray to suit our needs. As a bonus, in my hurry to leave on Sunday morning to catch an early flight, I accidentally left my cell phone in the room. I noticed it when I got to the airport but didnt have time to return to get it. The hotel staff found the phone right where I said it was and mailed it to my home address at their expense. What nice people!! I will go back definitely!!!

Very satisfied
Staff was very professional. Room was clean and tastefully decorated. Beds, bedding, pillows were fine. I would definitely return.

Best place to stay for visiting UMO
We have been in the Black Bear several times and enjoy the free cookies and continental breakfast.

We have stayed at The Black Bear Inn in Orono Maine many times. We have never had a bad experiance
We have never had a bad experiance at The Black Bear Inn. We visit our Grandchildren often because of the convenience of the hotel to their location. Besides we get to see some great sports at the University. Go Blue!
