A gorgeous Gem!
This was the most wonderful stay I have ever had. Phil and Ellen (I believe that’s correct) were THE nicest most welcoming people. The room was adorable. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. They have a collection of movies you can borrow. There is a porch and a gazebo outside. Also there is a lovely living room to relax in. The breakfast was AMAZING. Really good bacon (no fat, thick cut meat), hot pancakes, homemade rhubarb spread, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice... and they did special requests for other guests oatmeal or decaf coffee. I will definitely be coming back next time I go to Vermont, but I will stay longer!!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
This was very romantic, and well worth the costs. Although it was a few miles from Stowe, it is just as good as other places I have stayed, if not better. The ride to Morrisville from Stowe is beautiful, and definitely not an issue for someone who is on a recrational visit because the views alone are well worth it.
