Awesome
Hotel was conveniently located. The staff were very personable and helpful. We had a wonderful experience at Embassy Suites. We cant wait to return.
Austin has great live shows every night of the week-from small local acts to nationally recognized artists.

Quiet location and relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel shuttle gave us easy access to events downtown and was significantly quieter than downtown hotels. We were there on a busy weekend for the book festival and enjoyed the fact that we were able to return to a quiet room away from the Halloween hubbub. The staff was very attentive and courteous and we would definitely return again.
The Old Pecan Street Cafe was a great place to dine and watch the 6th Street activities. The Roaring Fork was also a terrific combination of good food, service and atmosphere. Both are highly recommended.

Well stay here again.
While staying just off I-35 is a nightmare, the Embassy Suites itself was a nice experience. The staff was always very helpful, from giving us a list of pizza places that delivered to helping us find the best route to different locations we wanted to visit in the city. Having breakfast in the atrium each morning was nice and there was a decent enough selection. The evening reception was okay, though some real food would have been good to go along with the alcohol (popcorn, chips & salsa, and peanuts seem a little skimpy when people are drinking). The standard Embassy Suites setup meant we could get away from any noise from outside our door. We never had any trouble sleeping. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was functional (nice shower), and the front room offered another space to spread out. A really nice experience and at a much cheaper rate than any other hotel closer to downtown or in one of the "hip" areas. When we go back to Austin we will stay here.
