quite good for the price
It is locates in a very nice and touristic place, close to the most interesting and representative of Paris. Kind service on counter but rooms are really small and bathroom becomes uncorfortable due to small space and distribution. If you are looking for something not too expensive it is a good choice.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you are planning to go to Bersalles, be at least 15 minutes before openning otherwise you will have to wait for more than an hour to get in.

Adequate
It is a budget hotel and it is what it is. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and it was close to a Metro Stop. To get to anything in the main part of Paris, though, it took a couple of Metro transfers - about 30 minutes to the Marais district or Hotel DeVille Metro stop. All in all, not a bad place for the money.
Traveler's tip on dining
If you want to eat at a good or famous restaurant in Paris, I suggest not winging it and showing up but call ahead for reservations or swing by the restaurant early on the day you want to dine and see if they have a table available. Asking politely in French helps your cause that much more if you are set on having a good dining experience.

location and not much more
After hauling my luggage up five narrow flights of spiral stairs, I was rewarded with a flashback of my college dorm room. Service at the desk was casual to a fault. But it was very inexpensive and the Montmartre location was great.
