The hotel was what I expected - no surprises. The hotel staff was better than expected - very courteous and accomodating.

First Time on the OBX
Inexpensive, clean, comfortable. Front desk folks very helpful. Attentive during breakfast to make sure everyone was happy. Bathroom was small. Might be an issue for some folks.

It was perfect to use as a home base.
We used it to scout out the area. A continetial breakfast was offered until 9:30 and there was cookies & coffee available throughout the day. It was clean & centrally located.
