Beautiful Hotel
We were very pleased with the size of the room, but were very disappointed with the hotel shuttle service. We arrived in the evening and the pick up point had been changed. We had booked our room, including breakfast and free internet access. Upon check-in, we were told that the hotel did not offer free internet access. It took 24 hrs, several visits to the front desk, and calls to expedia, but we eventually were given our "free internet access" and upon check out, did not have any problems with having been billed for it. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing!
Only exchange money at banks, not at exchange booths. Most banks did not ask for my passport, but in Venice, they did request my passport. Look for the tourist menus, and if you are charged a cover charge, you do not need to leave a tip.

Can’t wait to go back
This hotel was quite comfortable and very well maintained. The hotel was on the island of Guidecca and had a shuttle that takes you to and from the other areas (San Marco, San Zaccaria). The staff was pleasant and very attentive.

Excellent Hotel!!!!
If you like luxury and great views this is the Hotel you should stay when in Venice. The only downside is that you have to take the boat to go to St. Marks square and the rest of Venice since it is on the other side. the boat is complimentary though. The rest is excellent, the rooftop bar is superb and the restaunat Di Roma (I guess that’s the name) is excellent. Compared to Cipriani and the Bauer House this is the best.
