a bit overpriced...
...for what it is, compared with beach hotels in other Sicilian towns, but clean. Friendly staff with some English, and a beautiful large pool.
Traveler's tip
This hotel is located across the street from the beach in this small resort town located about 15 minutes from the airport a half hour from Palermo, off the main highway. A good place to start a road trip westward without having to stay in the city.

Very Friendly, family owned hotel
I was absolutely amazed at the patience and kindness with these people. Though a few people on the staff spoke English, seceral did not. The owner was very patient in helping us in every way possible. I then found he spoke some french and I used what I had learned in college to communicate. He allowed me to use his personal beach chairs and he gave me rides to the train station down the street. Incredible people and an incredible location.
Traveler's tip
Right on a very nice beach. Shopping would take place in Palermo. That is about a 30 minute train ride.
