SUFFICIENT

FIRST FLOOR ROOM POOLSIDE. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND MAINTAINED DAILY, CENTRAL A/C IS LESS NOISY THAN WALL UNITS. WE HAVE BEEN STAYING THERE THE LAST FEW YEARS AND SERVES THE PURPOSE. YOU DON’T SPEND TOO MUCH TIME IN THE ROOM ANYWAY, SO YOU DON’T NEED A PLACE LIKE THE "RUI"

RADISSON HOTEL SEAFOOD BUFFET, CLIMB THE HAYSTACK FOR A VIEW OF MOST OF THE ISLAND. SCUBA DIVE WITH CLIVE AT "DIVE ARUBA", SNORKEL AT BABY BEACH

Okay for the price.

The room was nice and well stocked. We prepared a few meals from the room. We even used the BBQ that the hotel provides. Maid service was good. But the rest of the hotel service was under par. We often could not exchange our pool towels, as it was closed hours before it was scheduled to be closed. It took four phone calls, a visit in person to the front desk, and a whole day to get our toilet fixed. The beach, however, was excellent! Next time though, I would stay in the high rise area. If for no other reason the amount of shops & restaurants that area within walking distance. We hung out in this area a few of the nights. There was a lot of people out in this area, with quite a bit of activity going on.

My Greatest Vacation

This is my tenth time to Aruba. This vacation was better than my honeymoon. Everything was perfect from the hotel facilities to the "super" Eagle Beach. Everything in our room was perfect. Although the room was a little "musty" when we opened the door, the smell quickly dissipated after the balcony door was opened. The kitchen facilities were all I needed for everything from breakfast to dinner some nights. The room was so spacious. Immaculate was everything regardless of what others have said. Although the balcony was small it was perfect for "2". We overlooked the pool waterfall which was so relaxing. No problem with elevators, plenty of towels (6) per day, central air in room with fans, room cleaned always, jet tub was "super" bath room was everything needed. How can anyone complain.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Buy a "Setar" prepaid time card. Not sold at the hotel. Can buy at the Mill or Setar Office near there. The Cabana, next door, has a Setar phone which can be used. Will save over 50% on phone calls. Be smart, if you want to make a $100 credit for activities, go on the "time share" arrangement but never blink, financially it is not a "good" deal because all the figures they throw at you do not include the airfare and the yearly maintenance fees which rise rapidly.
