Best housekeeping room cleaning

The regular cleaning lady on the 12th floor was amazing. She said she was originally was from the Philippines. Her cleaning was immaculate and was always very friendly. When I returned to my room at the end of busy business meetings, my room was always neat and precisely straightened. If I ever do return, I would request to be on her floor again.

Excellent Hotel

Everything was perfect. We had a beautiful view on Darling Harbourg. The location of this hotel was excellent to visit Sydney. All of Sydneys main areas of interest were within easy walking distance. Also, there was a good choice of restaurants near by.The staff were polite, courteous and professionnal.

Amazing service

Every single employee at this hotel was courteous, polite, and very helpful. The service alone (not to mention convenience) is worth it to go for! Plus you’re down the street from Chinatown = delicious Chinese food.

Good hotel, great location

The hotel is very conveniently located to Darling Harbour via a pedestrian bridge. Rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. My only complaint is that parking and internet are over priced.

Excellent Service

We got excellent service here. The Hotel facilities are great but could use a refresh in some places. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

Great Stay At 4 Points Sheraton - Darling Harbor

From beginning to end the hotel staff could not be more accomodating. Our arrival was too early to check in but they let us shower and change in the fitness center and then leave our bags with the concierge so we could begin enjoying Sydney. The bags were in the room by the time we got back at the end of our day. The fitness center had a decent amount of equipment to use from 5 treadmills to elliptical to nautilus and free weights. The hotel smelled good too! This may sound a bit funny but there is nothing worse than walking into a hotel and encountering a musty smell or the odor of stale cigarettes. Hotel has it’s own walkway to Darling Harbor...location is perfect to hop on ferries, lightrail link or to catch a bus. The hotel concierge were pretty knowledgeable and helped us with several recommendations and also with arranging a tour to the Blue Mountains. The Paris MediSpa attached to the hotel is wonderful!!! Anita and Frank Morton are very cordial hosts. They offer a great selection of treatments....definitely try the pinebark mud wrap followed by the vichy shower and the hot stone massage was fantastic. Overall, a very lovely stay. Would definitely go back!

Close to everything

This hotel is located right on Darling Harbour. If your lucky enough to have a Harbour view the lights at night are spectactular. Everything is right within walking distance, Circular Quay, Harbour Bridge, many shops and eatteries. Our party was split between floor 3 and 9. Floor 3 must have some rooms that allow smoking there was a distinct odor upon leaving the elevator, however, as soon as we left that area the odor was gone. No odor was present on floor 9. Overall a really nice place to stay.

Wow. Food and convience store items were very expensive! At Pancakes on the Rocks our breakfast was over $100.00, for pancakes and eggs! A big nice breakfast at McDonald’s was a better bet at $25.00, although we usually try to stay away from places we have in our own city.

Centrally Located

We spent six days at this hotel on two different trips and it was a worthwhile stay. It is conveniently located within walking distance of most attractions and close to ferries/train station. If you need a ride to the airport have the concierge desk schedule a shuttle pick up for you. It’s a little cheaper than train and much more than taxi and their service is great.

Great location

We were well recieved at reception, check in was a breeze, or room was nice. It’s a short walk to Darling Harbour, and a ten minute walk to the CBD. Great location! Buffet is quite expensive, so I would recommend trying any of the restaurants on the harbour instead.

Excellent location

This was an excellent location; right next to Darling Harbor and very close to Circular Quay. The harbor view rooms have a beautiful view day and night. Only steps away from the Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife World.

Traveler's tip on shopping

Close to Harbor Mall which has some very reasonable prices on tourist items, but should also walk along George Street and adjacent streets as there are great shops there as well.

Great Sydney Hotel

I was very impressed with the 4 points Sheraton, Darling Harbor, Sydney. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a room that overlooked Darling Harbor. The location was great. We had been on a cruise and walked the couple of blocks to the hotel. I would definately stay here the next time I am in Sydney.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

It is easy to walk to many nice restaurants and downtown shops in the area but it is not convient to park a car here. Be sure and do the Harbor Bridge Climb. We all loved it.

Great Location

Hotel was easily accessible from ferry - easy walk. Also close to all activities and restaurants in Darling Harbor. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

Great location!

The staff was awesome. The filled every request I had from more towels, to blankets, to extra room keys that i have no idea where they kept disappearing too. The hotel is right in Darling Habour walking distance from most attractions...the others are just a walk further. It was an awesome stay.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Walk to attractions in Darling Habour & catch the rail (& then walk the rest of the way) to other attractions. You’ll see all the local areas & the tourist sights for cheaper then cabbing it.

Location is EXCELLENT for first comers

Nice hotel, with an excellent location in the Darling Harbour area. Excellent acces from the airport, employees very polite and oriented to service passengers. Rooms with view to the Darling Harbour and nice, confortable and view is BEAUTIFUL. Breakfast service very complete and Excellent coffe served at the Bar.

This Hotel had an excellent location for business and for leisure. It llow you to walk around Sydney easily , safe and enjoying a great city/ For my first time in Sydney it was Perfec.

Very centrally located.

We enjoyed our stay at 4-points by Sheration in Sydney very much. It is centrally located and we can walk to all points of interest from 6-20 minutes. Surprisingly due to the location of the hotel, we didn’t have to take public transportation at all. This also give us an opportunity to window shop as we walk to our point of interest. It is also so convienent to Sky City Casino. Vance

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

We didn’t need to buy the 5 day Sydney Pass which we originally planned because the hotel is so centrally located. It was a big savings. We were there for 10 days.

Would stay there again, if the price was right

Good location, quiet, nice staff. Check out was slow so i used the express system which i hope worked.

The staff was very welcoming, kind, helpful and friendly. The hotel is located within walking distance to both Darling Harbour and the city center. The room was spacious, clean and nice and the breakfast very yummy.

Sydney’s Four Points

Four Points by Sheraton is an absolute lovely hotel. Some rooms boast a spectacular view of the Darling Harbor. The rooms are cleaned and well maintained and both king size and double beds are available. The concierge’s are first-rate and they go above and beyond to make sure that your experience in Sydney is top notch. Recommend taking a shuttle to the airport, which is less than half the price of a taxi.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Absolute must-see’s in Sydney include the Aquarium and the Wildlife Park next to the Aquarium and Centre Point Tower (great photo opps). For shopping recommend the Queen Victoria Building and the Pitt Street Mall. For sightseeing, highly recommend the Sightseeing Hop On/Hop Off double decker buses. The passes are $30 AUD per day and you can get on and off at more than 30 stops. It also includes the fare to Bondi Beach. It’s quite a bargain!

Great for the price

I had a very pleasant stay at the Four Points, but since I only spent a single night, I can’t say much as to the quality of services, staff or dining. We got a great deal throgh Expedia and really the only complaint would be that it’s a bit set off from the rest of the areas we were interested in. It’s a healthy walk from Circular Quay and other attractions, but there were several things to do within a reasonable walking distance. This was a high quality hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Very comfortable stay

I stayed here for my last night in Sydney, but wished it was for more days! Clean room, great bed, good location.

Good location, good price

We stayed at the Four Points Sheraton for about 3 nights in November. Overall it was a good experience with some room for improvement. The best part of course was the location, which is right at the Darling Harbour. The rooms were small but neat and clean and the concierge was very helpful, as they helped us score u2 tickets 3 hours before the concert! I believe the hotel is one of the largest in the city, so there is an impersonal feel to it. For example, the reception phone lines were either constantly busy or nobody picked up. In terms of the rooms, basics such as coffee and tea were not provided. However, for the price we found on expedia and the location, it was a good choice.
