Best in China
This hotel is outstanding. I spend 23 days in China (in various cities and 4 & 5 star hotels) and this was the best. Every staff member I encountered greeted me with a smile and hello, good evening, etc. Basic room with King bed was more than spacious, bright, quiet and very clean. Internet was free and connections were good I think all rooms have windows that open, which helps air things out whether in a smoking or non-smoking wing. Food at the hotel was fantastic. Location is walking distance to many city sites and personal safety was never a concern. Upon leaving, I personally thanked the on-staff manager for the superior service and amenities offered at this facility. I would recommend this for any business or vacation traveler - single or family.

Blown Away
I’ve stayed in a few places in Ningbo, but this was my first time visiting the Howard Johnson. I was truely impressed by it’s size, location and service. The hotel is big and beautiful and very clean and well kept. The service is fantastic and the staff was very friendly. The rooms comfortable and the air conditioning was our saving grace. The rain forest shower was awesome and although I didn’t use the nice soaking tub, it seems very inviting. The view from the room overlooked Ningbo’s moon lake and the park surrounding it both of which were just a block or two away from the hotel. There was much to eat right around the hotel and it was a great experience staying there. I look forward to my next visit.
