The hotel room at the Hyatt Place was fantastic and everything we needed and more. The setup of the room was exactly as we had reviewed it on the internet and the hotel staff were excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. And I cannot forget to mention the complimentary breakfast every morning was great. We will definitely stay there everytime we get the opportunity to visit Charlotte NC and will recommended it to friends and family as well.

Will stay again

Best service in a long time!

I had pretty much given up on the idea of good service at most places I go. The Hyatt Place however, exceeded my expectations for what I consider "good service." It was refreshing to see how much the staff caters to the it’s patrons. Beyond a friendly staff, the hotel decor is very progressive and comfortable. It also was the only place around that serves Starbucks coffee. That was reason enough for me to stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great layout with curteous staff, breakfast, wi-fi, outdoor pool, cario-only gym and comfortable beds. Very clean & maintainence was very quick to respond to a minor toilet issue. Would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel, close to airport.

We stayed here one night in order to catch an early morning flight. We loved the automated check in and out machines just inside the lobby doors. Saved time waiting in line at the reception desk! Hotel and room was very clean. The guest kitchen is a great idea and has a good menu. Very little noise from aircraft once in the room. We would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately, the pool was not in service, but the hotel transported me and my granddaughters to another Hyatt nearby.

First stay at a Hyatt will not be the last

My daughter and I stayed here for one night during a trip to Carowinds (which is approximately 5-6 miles from the hotel). The hotel and rooms are very modern, clean and quite a bargain. Moderate, fair price and great room for the value. Would not have to think twice about staying at another Hyatt.

The major drawback of the hotel was the condition of the bathroom toilet. It was not stable and rocked when we sat on it as if falling apart.

Extremely convenient if you are flying out from Charlotte

This is a new hotel, very nice and super comfortable. We stayed for only one night prior to our early morning departure for a week- long vacation to the Caribbean. The hotel is very close to the airport with 10 min shuttle ride but far enough to allow you a peaceful rest away from the landing/taking off noise. The area is very nice as well, and there are a couple of restaurants just two minutes walking distance. The furnishing and style is very modern, brand new, and our double queen beds room was very roomy with a large entrance/sitting area that had a long sofa and huge flat screen TV that you could easily watch from the sofa or the beds. The kids loved it!

The personnel are very nice and helpful. We asked about leaving our car there and riding to the airport with their shuttle service and they let us do that saving us the almost $70 fare for airport parking. Since this hotel is in a nice business park we felt that the area was safe enough to do that and it worked out great. We will go back again any time we will have to fly out of Charlotte.

Great place!

This hotel lived up to its reputation. Everything was great. The amenities and policies at Hyatt Place are just right: 24-hour food/snack availability; comfort, layout and size of room, comfort of bed, bath and shower details. The location and staff were also excellent, so I highly recommend the Tyvola Road Hyatt Place.

Being in a business park, expect lower rates at the Hyatt Place on the weekends.

Nice Hotel

This is one of the nicest hotels that we have ever stayed at. The room was large and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us good directions to local stores. We will stay there again the next time we are in Charlotte.

Party rooms negate a good night’s sleep

Normally, I love the Hyatt Place hotels. The plush beds and wonderful surroundings usually make for a good night’s sleep. But this time was a horrible exception. Next door to my room, there was a gang of thugs. They partied until 3:00 am and I made at least 4 calls to the front desk and they never stopped them. And additionally, they smoked in a non-smoking room, which I got to smell all night. When I complained at my checkout, they offered me a "free" hot breakfast, but no refund and no credits towards another stay. I would avoid this particular Hyatt Place.

Great airport location

We used this hotel as a place to stay the night before an early flight out of Charlotte (we live 2.5 hours form the airport in SC). The check in clerk was very helpful and friendly and the room was an open suite, although we got in alte and didn’t really use hte living area before bed. The breaksfat buffet looked good but we skipped it to get to our lfight. I would definitely recommend this for airport travel; it may also be nice for other types of stys but is not located as centrally to Charlotte attractions.

Very roomy...

Could have used a small night light - or some way to turn on a light without waking the whole room. Other than that, it was great.

Great place to stay!

We stayed here for three nights visiting family in the area and loved this place! The staff was very courteous and friendly. The hotel is quiet and beautifully appointed. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good and ample. We were very pleased with our stay and will stay here again when in the area!

Most of the stuff is automated, getting attention from human takes time

Good and clean hotel. Most of the stuff is automated. My room was missing TV remote and it took me about three hours to get it as only the managers know where they are. Getting humon touch involved in good service takes time here.

This is the best hotels in Charlotte if you need to stay close to the airport. The hotel staff was great, and the quality of the hotel was outstanding

Can’t say enough good things

This was my first time at a Hyatt Place but will not be my last.

Great Hotel

The room was excellent, however they need to put a microwave in the room. It has a small refrigerator and a wet bar but no microwave. We stayed with our grandchildren and were very excited to watch a movie on the awesome TV and wanted to pop some corn and looked everywhere for the microwave. We were in Charlotte for a bowl game. We will stay again.

Lovey new hotel--beware non-smokers

Beautifully decorated room and nice big TV! Unfortunately our non-smoking room on the first floor was located near a smokers (or a smoking area) and we smelled smoke almost constantly.
