Disappointed
Prior to booking my stay at La Ninfa I read nothing but complimentary reviews about the hotel online. While the location is spectacular and Maria who serves breakfast could not be more friendly or accommodating, most of the rooms are lobby adjacent without external windows and subject to the noise of the lobby at night and in the morning making it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. If you are able to book a seaview room not adjacent to the lobby, the hotel is quite nice and clean. Quite accessible to Amalfi and the beach (over 400 stairs). Very small closets.

Very charming
The hotel owner was very helpful. He told us a lot about the area and booked us a day trip to Pompeii. The only negative was that the beach was 485 stairs down. We were told that there is a lift being constructed this summer. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay.
