Not as good as last time
We had stayed at this hotel twice before and this time the service was pretty bad. We booked a king size and got twin beds for the firts night They changed us next day but without our luggage. Phones weren’t working, our babies crib has no sheets... We’re not planning on staying there again.

GRAND DETERIORATION
We have stayed many many times for the last 25 years or so at this and other locations of Embassy Suites. It has been in better shape before. At the present, window seals are terrible..It is so noisy from the exterior that in some rooms you can not really sleep. Air condition is in bad shape in certain rooms. Food has been deteriorating in cereals and pastry. If you travel by yourself, it is not worth it. If you have kids, it is a bargain although you have to accept less quality than before. We have decided to switch. In fact , we will be there this coming weekend but preferred DRURY at La Cantera. Hope they fix what is wrong. Maybe some Focus Groups would help. It is in a very good location and USED to be a benchmark ...a good one
If you are in San Antonio, go to SEa Island...it is a seafood reastaurant that gives a lot for your money. Try Ruth`s Steak House. It is much better than in many other cities. You will be very satisfied...Try walking the River at night. It is a wonderful experience. La Cantera mall is very very ngood for most shopping and the Palladium cinemas ...they are really OK, almost like mexicans
