Super place to stay.
Groveland is quiet little town an easy drive from Yosemite and the Groveland Hotel is a well done "Victorian" historic building update. The teddy bear bit is a little contrived, but not as tacky as it might be. Our room was small, but comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for day trips to the park and surrounding areas. The real gem of this site is the restaurant. Breakfast entrees are cooked to order and nicely presented, but don’t miss dinner. Fabulous food and a terrific wine list.
