Extremely Disappointed
Room was filthy with carpet staples all over the floor. None of the ice machines in the entire hotel were working. Staff was apathetic at best about any problems with the room.

Ihave spent the last six week ends at this hotel. Its well located. Easy freeway access.

Worst Ever!!!
I have traveled all over the U.S. and Europe and this was truly the worst experience I have ever had. Hard to believe we are in 2009 with their operation. I always thought the Howard Johnson chain was supposed to be excellent, but sure was fooled. First room had a plugged toilet and reaked of cigaretts. When we called the front desk we were told to come down and get a plunger. Second room (suppose to be non-smoking had an ashtray and matches...reaking of cigaretts. We were tired and had worked all day and driven from Port Angeles, WA so we tried to sleep. Toilet paper was almost gone and smell was terrible also when you got in and out of bed or turned over it sounded like cardboard boxes. Told the day person and she only said the person that had checked us in had just returned back to work...DAH, no apology or offer to refund and not even a receipt...told we had to take it up with Expedia. Never again.
