great location

We stayed here for 2 nights for 2 Broadway shows. Easy walking distance to both and Times Square. We were there over Halloween and enjoyed seeing all the costumes the staff wore. Stayed on 15th floor and was very quiet. Would stay here again.

Great Hotel, Great Location

We were very impressed with the Hilton Garden Inn, Times Square. The location was great, 3 mins to Time Square and all theatres in the surrounding area. 10 mins from Central Park. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were great and very accommodating. We needed a late check out as my husband needed to shower after the NY marathon before we flew home - we were late getting back and they still let him use the room - great service!! The restaurant was very good, french bistro. Would definitely go back.

Subway ran right under my room -- didn’t sleep at all!

The hotel has a lot going for it in terms of location and ammenities for the price, but I would need a guarantee from the manager that I wouldn’t hear the subway in my room again before I slept there. It was like sleeping in the station itself it was so loud. I was on the lowest floor so I would hope that is not an issue the higher up you go. Not a good night!

New York - Comfort & Convenience

We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient to Time Square and the heart of NYC and very close to subway and transportation throughout the city. Our room was comfortable and clean - great to come back and relax after a busy day of walking and sight seeing. We also started the day with a nice breakfast at the hotel. Good place to start and plan each day. We also found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

Definitely try Junior’s for dessert at the end of the day.

Great Hotel, Perfect Location.. Definitely Will Stay There Again

What a great hotel.. from being greeted at the door, check-in and our rooms. They even have a restaurant which we used for takeout breakfast.. so convenient. Hotel was close to Times Square, (yet in a quieter area) public transportation and many, many good restaurants. The room was immaculate.. right up there with the boutique hotel rooms. Had a beautiful view of city lights on the 14th floor. Staff were so friendly and ever helpful with what subway to take, restaurants in Chinatown, etc. They even stored our luggage for free after we checked out so we could take in some more sights. A fantastic stay and even more fantastic price through Expedia. Would definitely stay there again!

Most Convenient

Hotel was very centrally located to most of New Yorks Major sites. The adjacent Restaurant was reasonably priced with an exellent choice Menu. The Hotel Staff was very friendly and also very helpful in making your stay enjoyable. Tmes Square as an example was only four blocks away, a 7 Minute walk. The next time we go to New York, we would not hesitate for a moment to stay there again.

Love that is sooo close to everything!!!

I would recommend this hotel if you want to experience Time Square and Broadway Shows. If you are in New York for shopping, dinning, and having fun this is the hotel for you. The only negative I have to mention is that if you have a large or Xtra large SUV they don’t fit in the elevator of the parking lot, so I had to parked in another family hotel at the same price offer of this hotel but had to walked back the my hotel. Is very close but is not fun with your luggage.

Broadway shows are in every corner from this hotel. If planning to attend one and you are spending more than one day, it is a good idea to go to the theater and buy your ticket in advance if you haven’t done it online.

Great Location!

Two blocks from Times Square and a bit off of the beaten track; we loved the location. Good restaurants close by and only a short walk to the Hudson River and the Intrepid Museum. Wonderful staff...very helpful and courteous throughout our stay. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location for the theater.

The hotel was located in such a great location. We saw two Broadway show and we only had a short walk from the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean.

Nice Location - Nice Room

The location was great - near Times Square but not in the heart of it. The room was nice. Very clean. There was even a microwave and fridge. Free internet! Very good value for NYC.

Loved this hotel

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Great location. We were within walking distance to all three theaters where we saw shows. Close to restaurants, shopping, tour bus stops. We will definitely stay here again!!

We were pleasantly surprised. Thought we needed to spend a lot for a quality hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed cozy. No complaints at all. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in the city.

Great hotel off of Times Square

My husband and I stayed here for five nights for my 50th Birthday. It was our first time in NYC. This hotel served all our needs - it was within walking distance to theatres, the subway station, Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza and great restaurants. Check out the rooftop bar! Very comfortable beds and room was small but clean and fairly quiet. I would definetely recommend this hotel to anyone who is on a budget but wants to do New York in style.

Couldn’t be better!

We had a back side room and soon realized we wanted front or street side. The desk clerk changed for us and was very gracious. The bellmen and concierge gals were very helpful with all of our requests from tourist attractions to places to eat. The room was excellent. We are 80 plus but still like to get around and Hilton Garden Inn made it quite easy. Thanks!

Try the Olympic restaurant across the street for a great meal at very reasonable prices. Not fancy but like we have in Missouri.

great location and value!

Great central location, with very friendly and courteous staff. Nice coffee bar in the morning and access to computers in a separate room off the lobby for those without laptops. Would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel, excellent location

I researched several hotels and this one had good reviews. I am glad I chose this for my vacation stay. It was close to everything; Port Authority, Hop-on-Hop-off stop, theaters etc. Would highly recommend!

Perfect location!

Trivial as it might seem to some, I appreciated the response when I asked for and got an extremely hard pillow.

average hotel overall, can’t walk to the train station for Thomas ride

We thought we would be able to walk to the train station for Thomas ride and avoid the parking squeeze we knew was going to happen. But it turns out to be a little too far to the station and there are a lot of constructions going on, so couldn’t walk. For the thomas ride, it’s probably better to choose other hotels along the main street of the town. The hotel was in average condition, the room was just ok, the vending machines and ice machine were not working. The front desk was friendly. Overall it’s just ok given the price.

Would stay there the next time

I felt that it was the perfect place to stay. Close to time square but not where all the lights would possibly keep you awake.

Excelent choice.

Its very nice. I’ve stayed at the Westin Times Sq, which is fantastic...and The Hilton Garden Inn is as good as it, but much cheaper. Can’t beat it. Really recommend it. Nice room. Firm mattress. Great pillows. Great location.

Best in NYC

This hotel was great. I loved the location and the staff was the most helpful. The bed was to die for and we wish we could have taken it home with us. In walking distance to Times Square and all sorts of fun.

Grocery store right next door (Food Emporeum) and Deli across the street. So just use to in room fridge sand microwave and you’ll save tons on dinning expenses.
