Wonderful Place to Stay!
We wanted a place that felt luxurious and boy did we get it! Wonderful views, fabulous room, loved the pool slide. It was the perfect relaxing getaway. They even welcomed my little dog who was just diagnosed with lymphoma and I did not want to leave her at home. They had a giant heavenly dog bed waiting for her when we arrived. We opted for the deluxe gold course view and I think we might have gotten the best room in the place. Cannot wait to go back!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you are visiting the area, check out the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. It is a cross between a park and a zoo. Lots of outdoor walking, local animal exhibits, and the easiest access to the wonderful Sonoran cacti! Wonderful place for photography! We went in August which is hot. So get there when it opens.

Great place to stay
The hotel was nice and the service was very good. My 7 year old loved the slide and pool area. We stayed there while moving my daughter into U of A, which is only about 15 minutes away. The area around U of A is not very nice but the area around the Westin La Paloma is very nice with several high end restaurants within a short drive.
