very nice hotel but needs reliable shuttle

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. we like the ability to walk to all places of interest and attractions. My only complaint would be that the shuttle service is really bad, we arrived late for check-in because of airline delays and contacting the hotel were told the the shuttle did not run that late, in fact it had shut down at 4pm in the afternoon! considering that it was hours after that time we were stuck at the airport with no way to get to the hotel. We had to plead with a taxi driver on his way home for the night to make one more run for us. This was very inconvenient for us. Other than that big drawback the hotel and staff was very nice and helpful.

Just Ok...

Basic hotel....blah,blah,blah...staff mediocre....pool area small and needed cleaning...room had candy wrappers under bed and smelled musty. Overall ....basic.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

Only saving grace for this hotel was proximity to Hershey stadium for the concert we went to. Were able to walk to and from and saved aggravation from car traffic when concert ended.

Nice and convenient hotel. Very reasonable price compared to others in the same area. You can walk to the attractions easily.

Great Value

Great value! With the $$ we saved, we had a nice dinner at Hershey’s Circular Room. The shuttle was a great service.

was there only 1 nite to recover from a long day @Hershey Park. Was very comfortable/affordable.

Enjoyed our stay~

I loved everything about the hotel itself! The staff was attentive and accomodating. The only downfall for the price paid was the awful view of someone’s rundown backyard from our window. As long as I kept the curtains closed...al was good. Aside from that....we LOVED it!

Excellent Service

This hotel provides a shuttle service to the airport, hospital and amusement parks in Hershey/Harrisburg. The service is supposed to start at 8:00am, but I needed to leave at 7:30 am. Both the shuttle driver and the night receptionist were kind enough to offer themselves to drive me even though they did not have to. I was impressed with their nice attitude towards the guests and strongly recommend this facility.

Hershey

Upon arrival, I needed to do laundry. The long ride caused my child to get car sick. The laundry room’s change machine was empty and the staff made no efforts to help me get change. It was Sunday, the banks were not open and several stores said they couldn’t do it. However, this night’s room was modern and clean. When I returned three nights later, I was dissappointed with the room. The rug had a huge green stain in the middle of the room, my son walked over someone’s fake nail left on the rug and the toliet was clogged. I called the front desk and she offered for us to switch rooms. The room next door was clean for the most part but, I did find a few hairs in the tub. Good thing I brought spray with me. A huge bonus of this hotel is the indoor pool and the breakfast.

Chol. World & Hershey park Crayola World is 1hr. away in Easton, PA. It’s is a great time.

very good experience. Hotel is well situated, walking distance from museum. Hotel staff very friendly and accomodating.Great airport to shuttle service but remember to call first.

The room wasn’t completely clean and the bath tub did not drain very well at all, but other than that the hotel was nice.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Reserve the airport shuttle (Harrisburg) prior to arrival. Otherwise a cab costs about $30.

Very nice family-oriented hotel

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. It catered to both business professionals and families. The amenities were terrific: pool, exercise room, and breakfast! Very accommodating and enjoyable!

Traveler's tip on dining

If an event or concert is going on in Hershey, I suggest you make reservations at restaurants. We went to a number of places that were booked solid...Houlihan’s had a wait time of 45 minutes.

Great Place for the Price

I thought this hotel was a great value! My room smelled a little odd, but it was very clean and the staff was very friendly!

Could smell better

When we first opened the door, the non-smoking room smelled like a smoking room. We called the front desk and we were told the "head" housekeeper would come up. That never happened. We were only there 1 night and left early the next morning. Just a place to sleep.

A Good Economic Option

Really just your average hotel, the Days Inn Hershey is a fine choice if you have better things to do with your money than blow it all on a hotel room. The location is excellent, very close to all of the attractions snd within walking distance of several stores and restaurants. Once you get past the slight odor of the rooms, you’re sure to have a good stay.
