In the golden plains of the west side of the Guadiana river, in the lovely village of Moura, the Hotel De Moura is situated in a building of historical, architectural and artistic value, the ancient convent of the Ordem Hospitaleira de São João de Deus , established in the 17th century and adapted to Grand Hotel de Moura in 1900. The building is a vaulted arched roof construction. The front is covered by decorated ceramic tiles and the balustrade with statuettes and ceramic flower-pots. The interior yard and the central staircase are remarquable elements.
