Charming, conveniently central, quiet comfortable hotel in Poitiers
My wife and I really enjoyed our two days at the Hotel d l’Europe. We were in the very charming, well-maintained, and comfortable older part the hotel. Newer parts of the hotel have elevators. We were very close to the major square with many nice sidewalk cafes, by the Hotel de Ville, It was easy to walk to all the major tourist sights in the old town from there. We would very happily stay there again!

Simple but convenient
After a week in a Paris hotel at twice the price and half the size of room, L’Hotel Europe was a pleasant change. Part of the hotel is older and part is quite new. The hotel staff and friendly and speak excellent English. It is very close to the main square and all the ancient monuments. Poitiers is a beautiful little city.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
The breakfast is basic but inexpensive by european standards. I would recommend having breakfast some days in the hotel, or you might want to try one of the many local cafes. The hotel breakfast value is much better.
