Nice Hotel, Get the Double

This was my first experience out of the USA, I went for a hockey game. I must say that my entire trip was amazing, however had it not been for the hotel and its great location to everything it would’ve been not so great. The hotel itself is "iffy" from the outside but amazing inside. I got the bigger room and the beds were comfy and the cleanliness was awesome. I never tried the breakfast though. I really can’t wait to go back to Stockholm and I will be staying here again.

This hotel has a great location and convience to the SL lines, and everything in Stockholm is about a 20 minute drive.

Nice budget hotel outskirt of Stockholm

This hotel is ideal for budget travellers. The rooms are rather small but comfortable. Design is great. Personnel is very helpful. But you will need a car to get into the city.

Great deal for Stockholm.

Connect Hotel is a good choice for those on a budget in Stockholm. The metro line is really close and its only a 10 minute ride to Stockholm Central Terminal. If you get the Quicksleep room, be warned that there are no private showers (there are separate mens and womens showers connected by a sauna room).

Traveler's tip on dining

If you walk up the cliff from Slussen station there is a lovely little Greek cafe with outdoor seating which looks over the cliff and the water. I’m sorry but I can’t remember the name! The owners were really lovely and the food was delicious.

Great low priced option

Almost everything else in Stockholm was booked and except for the Quick Sleep bunk rooms available at this hotel. The upper and lower bunk beds were comfortable and there was a TV and small desk in this windowless room. Our travelling partners got a room with 2 side by side beds and windows! it was nicer than ours. The unisex WC was down the hall and clean and well stocked with towels. Buffet breakfast was good. Only 10 minutes by train from Stockholm centre...train station 200 m walk. Wireless connections was expensive unless you had a subscription to the service. Overall, for the price, outstanding!

They had sauna and free hot chocolate included!

The hotel was priced as a hostel, but I had the opportunity to sleep in a private, sit in a sauna and drink as much coffee as I could handle. The reception was friendly and I had a great time there.

Can’t wait to go back

Great place, loved the breakfast and late night tea with candles.Hard to find first time-take R after exit train station, go down ramp and on street take R(follow the rail back), after 400m on L side is sign of hotel, but it took as an 1h to cress cross the area:)

Good alternative choice

This hotel is ultra-modern and extremely clean. It is outside of Stockholm, but a five minute walk and a ten minute train ride takes you to the Central Station in the city.

Great value for money!

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel proved to be a really good choice. Away from expensive Stockholm downtown, yet just an easy 10 minute trainride (I love the trains in Sweden!). And right across from the Stockholm Conference Centre: great when you attend an event like I did! My room was newly outfitted, everything worked just fine. The room had no phone, which can be a positive or a negative, depending on your need. The supermarket right next door is good for stocking up on essentials. And: the Expedia reviews of this hotel proved to be quite accurate.

Would go back if it was closer. Long trip

The people were very friendly and accomodating.Had a good breakfast. It was close to transportation.

new, clean but small

The hotel has a nice common room (tv, books, tea) and sauna in the common bathrooms (which are quite clean); there is also a sauna. All appliances are new. However the rooms are very small.

Best value for your money in Stockholm

If you’ve looked for a hotel in Stockholm longer than 5 minutes you can see how unbelievably expensive they are. This hotel is a great price and well worth every penny. It is only a 5 minute walk to the metro and a 3 stop train ride into central station. The hotel is very unassuming from the outside but it is fabulous inside! Very new, clean, well maintained, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. Quiet neighborhood, grocery store right next door where you can buy inexpensive essentials like bottled water, snacks or whatever. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a budget traveler.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Stockholm is very expensive so eat as much as you possibly can at the all you can eat breakfast included at the hotel. Use the grocery store next door for bottled water, etc because the prices in central Stockholm were triple, sometimes quadruple.

Amazing and Friendly Staff. Suitable for quick travels

This is a new hotel. The outside is not appealing but the inside is quite modern and splendid. The amazing staff are friendly and helpful with your stay and travels. They have free breakfast which gets you going and dinner for a minimum fee campared to other areas. If you dont mind the train ride from the center...this is the place to be for the best price in town. This place feels like a loft in SOHO or your living room

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Stay out of the tourist areas. Go where the locals go around the edges of town. Shopping can be very expensive in Stocholm. Wait till you get home.

Be aware

I was in a quick sleep room. No phone, no bathroom. No coffee in the morning. YOu have to go down the hall for anything (shower, bathroom, etc.) The first sleep room (#6) was horribly small and most appliances did not work. I was moved to another room (#8). Much larger and comfortable. there was a tremendous difference in price (much cheaper) for the quick sleep and for #8 the room was the best choice. Just be aware of the difficulties of the quick sleep and DO NOT GET ROOM NUMBER SIX EVER YOU WILL HATE IT.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

the is a great little restrauant just down the street with good service, good food and reasonable prices. Take right out of the hotel and keep walking for about 1/2 mile and you are there.
