I’m the pickest when it comes to hotels, my stay here at the La Quinta was wonderful, the room was super clean, we only got to eat the complimentary breakfast for one morning cuz the bed was so comfy that we didn’t wake up early enough to eat breakfast the 2nd day the breakfast is more than what you can ask for. Overall, it was a very clean and comfy stay.

MAINER
We had our vehicle broken into on the one night we stayed there, there was a security guard and supposedly cameras but no one was concerned enough to look at the tapes. So not really sure if they were real. The local police were not of much help either which we did not understand as the items stolen were guns. We were on a hunting trip and the parking lot & neighborhood seemed safe enough. Just a sign of our times I guess. Too bad - the whole incident left a really bad taste in our mouths.

Good Bang For Your Buck
Stayed here with my wife for three nights the last weekend in January 2010. Room was clean and very adequate for our stay. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, heater worked well. It was cool outside so we never used the AC. The breakfast offered was one of the best we have had at hotels while traveling. While overall maybe not a true 4 star experience I would give it a strong 3.75 stars. The special rate that Expedia provided made it all worth while and my wife and I would both recommend this hotel to others and we would stay here again when in San Antonio.

Disappointed in San Antonio La Quinta Inn Medical Center
The windows in the rooms howl all night long in these room if there is any kind of wind. We heard a lot of other guests complain about this as well. We also did not get to use the pool or the hot tub because they close it at 10.00. It was raining most of our trip and as soon as the rain stopped they closed the pool area. That was very upsetting because we had paid an extra $20 a night to stay in a hotel with a heated pool and hot tub.

OK hotel for the price
My only complaint was with the icemakers that dispensed about a half cup of ice flecked with something so that I was afraid to use it. I tried the units on several floors. It was 18 degrees outside with ice, but no ice to be had inside.

Very Impressed
The staff was very kind and courteous, they even called my room to make sure everything was okay. The hotel was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Ready to go back again!
Everyone at the hotel was very accomodating and very friendly. The only problem was that the towels were not replenished when they cleaned the room. I called the desk and they were able to help. I had to call 2 times, but the hotel was very full and they were waiting on the dryer to finish. I have recommended this hotel to several friends because other than the towel situation (which was not that big a deal), the hotel was superb! They had a wonderful breakfast! The work out room was nice and open 24 hours and there were computers in the lobby with free internet access and the room had free internet as well. The bed was very comfortable as well.

very comfortable stay
Very clean and quiet hotel, staff were very nice and helpful, breckfast was a well assortment of hot and cold food and drinks. I will stay here next time I’m in town.

Would definitely book again!
I wish it would have been warm so we could have used the pool. The hotel was very well maintained and the pool especially was appealing! Only thing is when the houskeeper cleaned our room she forgot to leave towels. thankfully she was down the hall and she went to go bring some right away. I like that the breakfast and the dining area was not at all cramped in with many tables and chairs so I didn’t feel suffocated. I liked the nice shower head.
We ate one evning at the mexican restaurant next door so we could watch the Cowboy game and bartender was very nice and attentive. Changed the channel for us and all.

Very impressed!
Our experience was satisfactory. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast is to die for, absolutely delcious. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone passing through San Antonio. needing a place to stay.

Great location at a great price
This hotel was a great location for us between the airport and SeaWorld. It was very easy to get to and there were alot of restaurants near by for dinner. Room was comfortable and staff was very nice and helpful. The hot breakfast was great but they ran out of some items early Saturday morning so be sure to get there early to not miss out. Because the pool was in the shade, it was too cool to swim even though the weather was perfect for it. The pool area was nice and we enjoyed the hot tub. I would stay here again.

Good Value
Each time I come to San Antonio (3 times a year), I stay at the La Quinta located on IH-10 and Medical Drive. The hotel is 100% non-smoking, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. They serve breakfast each morning which provides a good start to my day. The hotel is conveniently located on IH-10 and your are 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown. All in all, it’s a very good value.

Great location - close to outlets and Wurzfest. Hotel provided shuttle service to Wurzfest, which was extremely helpful in avoiding parking and traffic obstacles.

Perfect Business Place to Stay
Each business trip to San Antonio that requires me to stay near the medical center I always pick this hotel. Still very new and great for the price.
Go west on I-10 for a ton of great dining options.

Pretty nice place
We were there on our honeymoon and the front desk people were nice enough to upgrade us to a bigger room at no extra cost to us. The only problem was that our door didn’t work once when we left and we had to have maintenance come and figure it out....kind of put a damper on our night out....
