wonderful stay
Very nice hotel for the money. It seems to be fairly new with nice decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. Fridge and microwave in room. Continental breakfast would be called deluxe as they have hot items - we ate there every morning -eggs, cereal, french toast, biscuits, yogurt, coffee, fruit. In the afternoon they bake some out of this world chocolate chip cookies for everyone. Of course main thing is that it is right across the road from the beach - you can walk or drive - we walked.

Beach Weekend
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Amelia Hotel. The hotel and room was very clean and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with directions. This hotel is in a great location with short walking distances to the beach and restaurants. The only negatives we found with the hotel is that the continental breakfast was lacking with not much to choose from and the tub in our room occasionally dripped water through the night - we could not get it to stop. Overall I would stay there again without question.
Two of the best places to eat while in Ameila Island/Fernandina Beach was Barbara Jean’s - Awsome She Crab Soup and Cornbread and the other was The Surf - We ate there 2 times. Great seafood with outdoor atmosphere and live entertainment.

Everytime again
fulfilled our expectation and needs 100%. Directly at the beach (only crossing one road). Don’t need more to spend a few days at the beach
