Not Impressed
The pictures displayed on the expedia must have been taken when the hotel was at its nicest. When I went, the indoor pool was closed, halfway empty, and green. The fitness center was closed and the wireless internet worked one of the five nights I stayed there. The only thing that made my stay worth while was the friendliness of the staff. Definitely not impressed.

Rundown Ramada
We stayed at the North Charleston Ramada for only one night. The room was very clean and smelled good, without any trace of cigarette smoke. But, the outside elevator smelled like an old sneaker. We had to hold our breath to get up to our room. The employees were extremely nice and friendly, but the breakfast attendent was late and my husband had to help make the coffee. There were a lot of other hotels nearby that cost just slightly more. Id stay in one of them next time!
Traveler's tip on dining
My husband, daughter, and I had dinner at Poogans Porch in the historical area. It wasnt cheap, but it was a fabulous meal in a beautiful Victorian hotel.
