Good Location
This was a nice hotel, conveniently located in Prague. We stayed for 2 nights. The breakfast was very good and the hotel staff were helpful. We had a room with 2 beds that apparently was a handicapped room and the bathroom was bizarre, set up for a wheelchair so no shower curtain and taking a shower was a very challenging experience. If you want 2 beds, try to get a conventional bathroom.

Excellent hotel, close to everything
I didnt really know what to expect from this hotel since there arent that many reviews for it. As such, I was very pleasantly surprised. The entrance is elegant but unintrusive, and you could even miss it if you dont pay attention. We had a fairly standard room and while it is not large, its very well laid out. The bathroom was well designed and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and had a lot of variety. The only problem I had was that the wireless internet connection didnt work except in the lobby downstairs. For most people that should not be an issue if youre there to visit Prague! The location is absolutely excellent, just turn the corner and you are on one of the busiest touristic streets in Prague, Vaclavske Namesti. However, you wouldnt know it since the hotel is very quiet!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Theres a very good & cheap pizza place about 5 minutes away on the other side of Vaclavske, across the street from McDonalds.

Great times in Prague at the Sovereign
I give this hotel a ten out of ten, and I am not the type of person to go to extremes with ratings. The hotel itself was very clean, the front desk staff was very helpful and spoke fluent English. They even went so far as to price out the costs train tickets to other cities in Europe. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and in fact it made it difficult to get up in the morning! The bathroom was very nice, clean, and well lit. While the overall size of the room was small by American standards, the high (very high) ceilings created space. The hotel was right in the middle of everything, but far enough off the beaten path as to not be subject to noise at night. I give it my top three stays is all of my travels. Stay here!
