Look forward to making a family tradition...
We had a great time! Kids absolutely loved the water slide. Terrific place for a family vacation. Staff was very friendly. We had one of the efficiencies with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunrise. If you have more than one vehicle in your group, space is limited if they are sold out, but there is overflow parking. The only minor suggestion I can make is to bring your own pillows if you are used to sleeping with more than one. Met a lot of nice people - some new, like us and some long time vacationers with the Sun Viking. Will return next year for our summer vacation.

They have plenty to keep the kids busy but we headed over to Daytona Lagoon for a day at the arcade.

We didn’t have a good time cause we were there for 8 days and rained everyday for our last 6 days! Over 30 inches of rain wow!

A good family hotel.
I was pleased with my stay at the Viking. The kids enjoyed the slide at the pool and the beach was right out our door. My only regret was not getting a room with an oven as eating out got to be expensive. We could have eaten at the room and saved some money.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Like I said previously if your looking to save some money I would get the room with the kitchen. Then you can bring food with you or go to the grocery store and then cook it there. Especially if you are stating awhile!
